Dear NCSY GIVE Bus 2 Parents, We are thrilled to share the excitement of our first days here in Israel! Our journey began bright and early with our arrival in Israel, followed by a delicious lunch on campus, orientation, and icebreakers to get to know each other. One of the highlights of the day was our visit to the Kotel, where some of our girls experienced the awe-inspiring moment of seeing it for the very first time through a touching blindfolded reveal. Afterward, we headed to a nearby mall to pick up toiletries for the summer before returning to campus for a delicious dinner and to unpack our belongings and settle in. Today, we embarked on our first Chessed activity with GIVE by visiting an old age home! The girls were incredible as they sang songs and danced with the elderly residents, brightening their day and putting lasting smiles on their faces. From there, we had lunch at a beautiful park followed by a team building activity that the girls enjoyed and bonded through. To cap off our eventful Friday, we enjoyed some shopping on Ben Yehudah before returning to campus to prepare for Shabbos. We are immensely proud of the girls for their enthusiasm and positive energy throughout these past 2 days. They are truly making the most of every moment here in Israel.
